1. Qur'an Source: Surah An-Nahl, Surah 16, Ayah 36
وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولًا أَنِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ
"And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], 'Worship Allah and avoid Taghut (false gods)."
Simple Meaning: Allah sent prophets to every group of people to teach them to worship Him alone.
2. Scholars say the number of prophets is very big. Some say about 124,000 prophets were sent.
3. But only about 25 prophets are named in the Qur’an. The rest were not named to keep it simple.
4. The reason for saying different numbers is because many prophets came to different peoples at different times.
5. This shows Allah cared for all people by sending guidance.
**Takeaway:** Many prophets were sent to teach us good and to worship Allah only. We respect all prophets.
Allah knows best.
