Surah Al-Baqarah, Surah 2, Ayah 285
"The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], 'We make no distinction between any of His messengers.' And they say, 'We hear and we obey. [Grant us] Your forgiveness, our Lord. To You is the final destination.'"
Simple Meaning:
This ayah tells us that true believers have faith in six important things: Allah, His angels, His books (like the Qur’an), His messengers (like Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), the Day of Judgment, and the decree of Allah, whether good or bad. These six things are called the pillars of Iman (faith).
The pillars of Iman are:
1. Belief in Allah (الله)
2. Belief in His angels (الملائكة)
3. Belief in His books (الكتب)
4. Belief in His messengers (الرسل)
5. Belief in the Last Day (اليوم الآخر)
6. Belief in Qadar (Divine Decree), both good and bad
For example, when you believe in Allah, you know He is the one who created everything and takes care of you. Believing in angels means you know there are special creatures who carry out Allah's commands. Believing in books and messengers means you accept the guidance Allah sent to help us live good lives. Believing in the Last Day means you know everyone will be rewarded or punished for what they did. And believing in Qadar means you trust Allah’s plan, even when things are hard.
**Hadith Source:** Sahih Muslim, Hadith 8, Authentic

**Simple Explanation:** This hadith clearly explains the six pillars of Iman. It means that to be a true believer, you have to believe in all these six things completely, not leaving any out.
**Takeaway:**
Try to learn and remember these six pillars and understand that believing in them helps us be strong Muslims. Whenever you have doubts, you can think about these pillars to remind yourself what faith means.
Allah knows best.
